Initial External Tablet Configuration
Procurement process for which the student may use a personal tablet for school use and have it enrolled in the MDM service used by the school for device management and control within the classroom.
The tablet must be sent in perfect packaging condition, free of any pattern locks, without a Google account, and factory reset; it must meet the established requirements for Samsung KNOX management, must be a version higher than Android 10, and must be a Samsung tablet.
Additionally, it must be proven that the device was acquired legally via proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
We detail the steps to follow to achieve an optimal configuration by our technicians:
- The tablet must arrive factory reset and free of any personal user data so that the Technical Support Service (SAT) can work correctly; if you are not sure how to do this, you can consult this document.
- Once the requirements are verified and it is factory reset, you may proceed to make the purchase.
- Once the purchase is made, you will receive an email at the address indicated during the purchase process to confirm the device collection details by our logistics department.
The price includes the following services:
- Configuration by a technician certified in Samsung KNOX.
- Management licenses for the correct operation of the device at the school.
- Management of device transport, round trip. The billing address filled out in the purchase form will be used for the collection address.
IMPORTANT: FOREDU and the educational center are exempt from all liability for damages that the equipment may suffer during transport. In cases where the delivery fails, the device is not delivered factory reset, or its processing is made impossible due to causes unrelated to FOREDU, the user must pay a €25 penalty fee for technical management costs.
